Jacqueline Novogratz, a pioneer in the field of impact investing and New York Times best-selling author, discusses how philanthropic patient capital can play a role in tackling global poverty. The founder and CEO of impact investment firm Acumen, she shares with Prof. Maillet her vision for how we can develop leaders with character to reimagine our global institutions. Her new book Manifesto for a Moral Revolution: Practices to Build a Better World provides a practical guide for how individuals can play a role in creating a better global community. She weaves into the conversation her personal experience in low-income countries across the world serving as an advocate for changing the status quo.  She gives her advice to students and young professionals on how to start on a path toward meaningful careers.
